"1) Issues with the password reset process"
1) The password reset feature is a no-go because: "Password can't include common word and letter combos." 2) I ain't gonna waste 15 minutes hunting down GitLab's contact form when I can just drop a review saying the service is terrible in 5. 3) The user interface is... seriously, is this 2023? 4) I’m paying for my account (not on a free plan).

"Functions Flawlessly"
I utilize GitLab for my own projects on their platform and also oversee a few instances of GitLab for my job (3000 users). My experience with the service has been fantastic; the GitLab runners are among the top tools for automation I've come across.

Complimentary services! And pretty dependable. I’ve got no complaints at all.

I see a one-star review here complaining about "no assistance"... why expect help for a free service? They’re not a charity and don’t owe you anything. Hit up a forum and "help yourself". If you need more, consider a paid service somewhere else.

They snatched my /u, and it's just wrong. I had that name for one of my groups, but then they went ahead and took it from my account, handing it over to someone else. Honestly, I can't recommend gitlab at all unless they return my group's name to me...
